Will Mavic Enterprise Drone Debut At AirWorks2018 ?

Just before the launch of the Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom drones, we got some sneak peaks at other new DJI drones and products.

A prototype for a Mavic Enterprise drone was one of those leaked images and we think it’s a could be what DJI releases at Airworks 2018 in October.

AirWorks is DJI’s Enterprise focused conference that brings together the full commercial drone industry in one place to hightlight companies that are at the forefront of enterprise drone adoption.

This year, AirWorks will focus on growing commercial drone ecosystems and how all participants can work with DJI to reshape the global economy with drones. And if you received an invite you’d know that DJI will be launching another new product (or two).

Naturally our first goal is to try to guess what DJI will launch at AirWorks.

Earlier this year DJI did a soft-launch of the Phantom 4 RTK drone.  Designed to operate with increased spatial accuracy and control in high signal areas RTK provides ultra-accurate, centimeter level 3D positioning.

But the Phantom 4 RTK has already been announced.

The other drone leak we saw ahead of the Mavic 2 announcement was the Mavic Enterprise drone.

Built using the new Mavic 2 platform, the Mavic Enterprise has adaptable add-ons that connect to the drone body for mission specific uses.  The leaked photos we received show what could be an acoustic attachment (above) and a strobe or IR emitter below.

Airworks2018 is less than 2 months away, so we won’t have to wait to long to see what drone DJI releases.

Think you have an idea what DJI will release? Let us know in the comments.
