Up until today, the new Mavic Air wasn’t part of the DJI Select program. But that has all changed with one email from DJI today.
Effective immediatley Mavic Air accessories are now eligible for purchase with the DJI Select program.
Joining the DJI Select program is simple. After you purchase a DJI drone you’ll receive an email offering you the the opportunity to buy DJI Select at checkout for $29/year.
Once activated on your account you can log into your DJI Store account and see all of your DJI Select Coupons waiting for you.
Saving 20% off some of the most useful accessories is the perfect way to inch towards brighter shooting conditions as winter slowly fades.
“When you purchase a DJI drone you’ll be given the option to buy DJI Select at checkout for $29/year.” This is incorrect. I’ve been on the DJI Store for a while today thinking about getting a Mavic Air and DJI Select. After a chat with customer service this is what actually happens. You must first buy a drone before you can purchase DJI Select. No DJI Select benefits will apply to that first drone (DJI Care/Care Refresh or expedited shipping) because you’re not a Select member yet. The benefits of the shipping and 50% off DJI Care/Care Refresh will only apply to a 2nd drone purchase. So if, like me, you’re buying your first drone and probably aren’t starting a drone collection then you lose a fair amount of the DJI Select benefit. You still get the 20% off coupons which may be worth it if you plan to buy several accessories.
You are correct. Technically it should say “after” checkout you’ll be given the option to purchase DJI select.
