DJI finally released the Waterproof Case and Extension Rod for the Osmo Pocket handheld vlogging camera.
The Waterproof Case retails for $49 and works to depths of 60 meters, making it an ideal undewater camera, even for Scuba divers.
With 2 mounting brackets the device allows you to attach a multitude of accessories similar to the Osmo Action.
The large face of the Waterproof Case will make for great surfact shots to capture all the action above, and below, the surface.
DJI’s Extension Rod for the Osmo Pocket is $69 and provides a more pleasing filming angle when recording in selfie mode or vlogging. The retractable rod has a phone holder allowing you to film using the Mimo app. Using your phone also gives you a bigger screen for composing your shot and seeing if you’re in frame.
Multiple mounting brackets also allow for additional shooting options.
A 1/4″ tripod mount on the bottom of the Extension Rod lets you mount the Extension Rod on a tripod or connect accessories like an LED light, etc.
Both accessories ship next day, but like all DJI releases, stock is likely limited so order quickly before the inventory is gone.
