More Leaked Photos of Osmo Pocket on Facebook, Twitter

Last night we were scanning the Facebook groups and noticed a post showing more photos of what is alleged to be an Osmo Pocket in sealed retail packaging.

The images were posted around 7pm in the Official DJI Owners Group.  If you’re not familiar with this facebook group, it’s run and admin’d by DJI staffers and has over 79,000 members.

The post was eventually removed by admins for violation of the group’s rules; turns out the person who posted the photos buried a cloaked DJI affiliate link to DJI’s news page in hopes of generating some revenue.  Interestingly enough, DJI should be able to find the person who posted the images since their affiliate link will very easily identify who they are.

But we we’re able to snag some screen shots of the images, above.

These aren’t the first images we’ve found of this alleged device.  Last week we reported about bloggers in China who tweeted out images of what they claim is an Osmo Pocket as well.

A close-up look at the back of the packaging shows that the device is Made for:

  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8 Plus
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPhone 6

There’s also reference to something called DJI MIMO APP and graphics for the Apple Apps Store and Google Play.

We checked both stores and found nothing in a search for MIMO that relates to DJI, just a German ‘learn to code’ app.

The images were also shared yesterday by Twitter user @Jordanquicken and reposted by @OsitaLV.

With DJI’s live event in New York, called “Because Life is Big”, just days away we expect the internet to be as mischievious as always….there should be lots of leaks and rumors still to come.

We’re heading to New York later this week for DJI’s Because Life is Big event so be sure to follow us on FacebookTwitter and Instagram to see what unfolds throughout the day.

You can bookmark the DJI Live Event page here.
