More DJI FPV Drone Battery Photos Making The Rounds

This morning we woke up to a major drop of images in our Twitter feed, from a wide range of sources.  Photo leaks usually increase as we get closer to a product launch, so this could mean we’re very close to the release of the DJI FPV Combo.

DJI entered the FPV world in July 2019 with the release of accessories like the FPV Goggles and FPV Remote Controller, and components like the DJI FPV Camera and DJI Air Unit Module.

Since that time, everyone has been wondering how long it would be before DJI released an actual FPV drone.

With the imminent release of the DJI FPV Combo, we pretty much have the answer to that question.  And there have been so many leaks and dji rumors making the rounds lately that we have also have most of the specs.

Today’s drop of battery pics is a big one.  Usually we get one or two photos, often from a ‘usual’ source.  Today we have 8 photos (so far) and more are likely on the way.

The photos themselves are self explanatory.  We get a good look at the charging connection, below, that looks similar to the contacts on a 9V disposable battery.

The battery for the DJI FPV combo is a monster in the world of FPV drones. Using 6 LiPo cells, the 2000mAh battery gives a 20 minute battery life. And from our earlier articles on the DJI FPV Combo specs, we’re ‘officially’ able to confirm the battery specs on the next image, below, that also shows the 44.4 watt-hour capacity.

There’s only so much you can write about a battery, though. So we’ve put all of the leaked DJI FPV Combo battery images into one gallery, below.
