DJI Releases Charging Case, ND Filters for Osmo Pocket

Last month we shared some timelines for when DJI would release accessories for the Osmo Pocket.  Among them, we expected the ND Filters and the Charging Case to appear around the first week of March.

Unfortunately, we’re about a month late receiving them….but hey…better late than never.

DJI’s ND Filter set for the Osmo Pocket is a 4-pack that includes ND4, ND8, ND16 and ND32.  With the range from ND4 up to ND32 it should accomodate most users needs for cinematic filming.

Retailing for $49, the DJI set is slightly less expensive that FREEWELL‘s kits or what is available from PolarPro.  The catch, however, is that these are just basic ND Filters.  FREEWELL and PolarPro both offer sets that include Polarizing ND Filters that cut glare in bright situations (like at the beach).

Osmo Pocket Charging Case

We’re very interested to finally get the $129 Osmo Pocket Charging Case in our hands.  Designed to provide a full additional charge for the Osmo Pocket, the $129 case also has space to store ND filters and microSD cards.  DJI also points out that before using the Charging Case for the first time you must update the Osmo Pocket to the latest firmware using the Mimo app.

The new ND FIlters and Charging Case are available for order now at the DJI Store and ship in 3 to 5 days after payment confirmation.

As with previous new releases we encourage you to order immediately, as initial stock usually sells out within the first day.

Will you buy the ND Filters and/or Charging Case? Let us know in the comments ‘why’ or ‘why not’!
