DJI Mavic Air 2 drone Launch Event is now official

Yesterday we shared all of the known features of the new DJI Mavic Air 2 drone including OcuSync 2.0, ADS-B receiver and that it comes in two different models.

Today DJI sent out the official teaser for the Mavic Air 2 launch which will take place online on April 27th, 2020 at 9:30pm EDT.

DJI is calling the launch event for the Mavic Air 2 “Up Your Game” which can only mean you should expect the Mavic Air 2 is going to bring new features and photo/video improvements.  Details on the Mavic Air 2 camera are not known at this time, but we do know these features for certain:

  • Two models of Mavic Air 2
  • Controller uses OcuSync 2.0
  • ADS-B receiver (aircraft detection) is available in one model
