While DJI was busy announcing the new Ronin 4D PRO level camera gimbal system, our friends in Europe shared new DJI Action 2 marketing photos, specs and prices on social media.
The photos are great, and show the accesssories that are bundled in the Action 2 retail package, as well as NEW product images from various angles. Still missing is an image of the display screen on the Action 2 but we should have that later today.
DJI Action 2 Confirmed Specs:
- 155 degree FOV lens
- 4K120fps video
- HorizonSteady keeps horizon level
- Waterproof to 10m
- Battery pack 180 minutes of power
- OLED screen
- 4 mics
- extra microSD slot in power module
- Action 2 wearable on neck lanyard
DJI Action 2 Price will vary by country. Some, like US have tariffs on goods from China, as do others. So far we’ve seen the following prices:
- UK £349
- Europe €439
- Ireland €432
Official US pricing not out yet, but based on the above it should be around $379. Compared to the new GoPro HERO 10 that was just released the Action 2 comes in about $100 less, but lacks some of the features of the HERO 10.
DJI Action 2 will be officially launched on October 27, just one week from today. Following the typical playbook of DJI product launches we should see many more leaks from the ‘usual suspects’ including select retail partners. BestBuy is astonishingly good at leaking DJI products a couple of days before they actually launch.
