RUMOR: DJI to Phantom 4 Drone: “Your’re Fired !”

More leaks keep coming our way with the pending release of the DJI Mavic Pro drone.

Multiple sources are now reporting that the DJI Phantom 4 drone is quietly being discontinued just like it’s predecessor, the Phantom 3.

Phantom 4 prices set to drop

This will likely mean that the remaining inventory of refurbished Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 drones is about to be liquidated, so prices may drop further. (A refurbished Phantom 4 is $799 on the DJI website.  Not much of a discount…yet.

What is amazing is the Phantom 4 drone is less than a year old, and it has already been lapped by the Mavic and Mavic Pro drones.

Here’s a bit of video nostalgia from the Phantom 4 launch in March 2016.
