The 2021 Drone Buyers Guide Will Help You Buy The Right Drone
Buying a drone can be a challenging task. On top of ever-changing drone rules it seems a new drone is released every few months. So how do you know if a drone is out of date or due for a refresh? How does it compare to other models? And most importantly, how do you know if a certain model of drone is “ok to buy”?
Today we launched the first module of our 2021 Drone Buyers Guide to help you make the most informed decision when buying a drone. And we give a clear recommendation for each drone on whether it’s ‘OK To Buy’, a “Maybe” or “Do Not Buy” … so you can be confident that the drone you’re buying won’t be obsolete tomorrow.
Our smart graphics, using live data, show you how long a drone has been on the market, as well as how long since the product was ‘up-freshed’ or previously replaced.
We’ll continue to update and add to Buyers Guide over the coming weeks, and as new models are released. We’re already working on a new feature, below, that gives you an instant score on each drone across 5 product dimensions.
We’ll be adding this “D-Score” soon that assigns a quality factor to each drone using 23 variables based on features and performance relative to other drones in the same class. We think it will be a powerful tool to help chose the right drone. Be sure to subscribe or click yes on the popup to be notified when the “D-Score” goes live.
Below each drone report in the Buyers Guide we include the most recent news articles & rumors that will make you aware of the latest developments on the model & it’s competitors.
