LEAK: Mavic 2 Drone Patent For Folding Arms

Chinese blobber Kanzhaji is reporting today on a patent filing for the all new Mavic 2 drone.

Using a system of rotating folding arms similar to the Mavic Air and Mavic Pro, the arms fold into the brick-like body of the Mavic 2 from a recessed slot on the lower sides of the Mavic 2 body.

The forward Mavic 2 arms, which have rigid risers to keep the drone body elevated above the ground, same as the Mavic Pro, rotate forward towards the front of the drone and to the side….very much like the Mavic Air’s rear arms.

The rear arms of the Mavic 2 rotate to the rear of the craft while twisting laterally.

We haven’t had a chance to translate the text yet, but this does give us a second level of confirmation that earlier leaked photos of the Mavic 2 are the real deal.
