Drone Buyers Guide: Autel Nano drone gets BUY NOW recommendation

When we first published the Drone Buyers Guide in 2019 we had one goal in mind: provide a comprehensive source of information for prospective drone buyers.

By combining dynamic age graphs, key specs, pros & cons as well as an overall recommendation we wanted to help drone buyers make the right decision, while also steering them away from out-of-date or obsolete products.

The Drone Buyers Guide has been a big hit, and our readers regularly tell us how much it helped them chose the right drone.

We’re currently waiting for test product from Autel, so in the meantime we’ve updated the Drone Buyers Guide to include the EVO Nano Series of drones. And we give the Nano Series an emphatic “Buy Now” recommendation.

You may recall an earlier post where we compared the specs of the Nano Series with DJI’s Mini 2 drone. In that article we crowned the Autel EVO Nano the “Best Drone Under 250 grams”, taking the title from the Mini 2.

EVO Nano doesn’t beat the Mini 2 in every feature. But Nano does have superior camera options, obstacle avoidance and active tracking that more than makes up for a couple of minutes less battery life and is worth the higher price tag.

Now that EVO Nano is in the Drone Buyers Guide, we should be adding EVO Lite and Lite+ in the coming days.
