We’re just days from the official release of the DJI FPV Drone Combo, which means a final fury of leaks and teasers, and not just from the usual suspects like DJI and @Ositalv.

Social media influencers are now rapidly dropping hints that the DJI FPV Drone is closer that you think. And a special ‘glitch’ that relates to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and the unique contents of the DJI FPV Combo means it’s no coincidence that you’re seeing lots of the DJI Goggles V2 in posts right now.
We know for a fact that the DJI FPV Combo comes with the DJI FPV Drone, FPV Controller, and DJI FPV Goggles V2. But the DJI FPV Goggles V2 were already released months ago meaning they won’t fall under DJI’s NDA ahead of the FPV Combo launch.
So if you’re seeing lots of posts in your feed of FPV footage, and users wearing the FPV Goggles V2, chances are they’re collecting content for the eventual release later this week.
The final straw for us was seeing Peter McKinnon flexing a pair of DJI Goggles V2 in his Instagram feed yesterday “for a video next week”.
Which means that Peter isn’t just filming a DJI FPV Drone video, he’s releasing it this week and that will likely be on the day that DJI releases the DJI FPV Combo.
iJustine is another one of DJI’s chosen influencers and she and her sister Jenna mysteriously tend to go ‘off grid’ for a couple of days ahead of DJI product launches. In fact, you can almost set your watch to how iJustine’s travel plans line up with product launches. Right on cue her social feed has gone relatively quiet while she and Jenna have been on a road trip up the Pacific Coast.
I’m betting anything they have a DJI FPV Drone Combo with them in their Chevy Tahoe as they’ve been traveling.
Interest in the DJI FPV Combo has been off the chart in the months leading up to the launch. FPV droning is one of the fastest growing recreational hobbies right nwo that’s only increased because of the pandemic.
Various pre-order websites around the world have conflicting dates for when the DJI FPV Combo will be available for order. Some are showing March 1st while others are March 2nd. Accidental listings of the DJI FPV drone on sites like Amazon in the UK and Germany were quickly removed, but are likely part of DJI’s steady stream of leaks and teasers leading up to a product launch.
So far we’ve been able to confirm almost every single feature of DJI’s first turn-key FPV Drone System.
