Drone Footage Of Oroville Dam

The Sacramento Bee has published drone footage of the Lake Oroville Dam showing the high water levels and water overflowing the auxilliary spillway.

Last week authorities raised the alarm as the dam’s spillway suffered serious erosion damage and authorities feared it could worsen.  Today they issued an evacuation order for over 188,000 residents downstream from the dam.  Officials are struggling to manage the water level behind the dam due to higher than normal rain fall.  With more rain in the forecast this will likely not change quickly.

The drone footage was provided by the Department of Water Ressources, however it is unsure what model of drone was used.
