DJI Ronin-S Is Now Available For Order!

Got it.  Just take me to the DJI Ronin-S page.

Because of the huge improvements in consumer-level electronics, companies like DJI have been able to create products in both the consumer and professional categories that blur the line between them.  The $129 DJI Osmo Mobile 2, the latest incarnation of the handheld smartphone gimbal originally launched in 2016, blends the professional hardware experience of a stabilized smartphone gimbal with brilliant software in the DJI GO App to truly unlock the power of your smartphone as a filming device.

When the first Osmo Mobile came out, my sons referred to it as a “$300 selfie stick”….but even at that price it was a bargain.  The new and improved Osmo Mobile 2, at less than half the price, is an even huger bargain.  With built-in battery assist for my iPhone, I run out of things to film long before I run out of battery.

The newly released Ronin-S does for DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras what the Osmo Mobile did for smartphones.

Inexpensively.

At just $699, the Ronin-S is like having an entire Hollywood film crew in the palm of your hand.

We won’t steal all of DJI’s thunder today, because they explain the incredible Ronin-S features better than we could, but to have a Hollywood grade camera jib with a 360 degree gimbal in the palm of your hand is pure movie-making magic.

The Ronin-S will accomodate camera systems up to just under 8lbs, with 12 hours of battery life.

You can carry the Ronin-S, attach it to a moving platform like a vehicle or creativley mount it how it suits your scene.

Compatibility across a wide range of cameras including Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, Sony and even Hasselblad.

The Ronin-S is now available for order at the store.dji.com, with shipping in 20-25 days. Quantities are limited with a max purchase of two units.

If you want to be among the first to own and use the DJI Ronin-S, you better act fast!
