A Twitter follower recently asked us if we knew when the colored version of the DJI Spark camera drone would be available.
If you’ve been watching DJI’s site, you’ll know that they have made the Alpine White version of the drone available first as a ‘drone only’ purchase option.
If you try to buy any of the different colors of Spark (Meadow Green, Sky Blue, Lava Red, or Sunrise Yellow) you’ll see that it’s ‘Out of Stock’ if you attempt to purchase just the basic drone.
We have previously written on why the Fly More Combo is the preferred option if you want the Spark, and it looks like you’ll also be able to get it sooner if you go that route. (Hint: just having a drone and a battery gets you off to a weak start).
DJI is always tight-lipped when it comes to leaking secrets, so for now we’re just going to have to monitor the DJI Store website to stay updated on availability.
As always, if you are considered purchasing any DJI drone, we HIGHLY recommend that you purchase DJI Care when given the option at checkout. So far we haven’t heard anyone complaining that they were able to repair or replace a damaged drone for minimal cost.
