BREAKING: Mavic Pro Gets QuickShot Modes

Ever since the DJI Spark mini-drone was released with built-in flight modes, Mavic Pro owners have been asking for the same feature.  And it’s been a mystery why they didn’t get it sooner, considering competing drones, like the GoPro Karma, were launched with these features.

Today, Mavic Pro owners woke up to great news: the latest firmware update now include DJI QuickShot Modes!

After the upgrade, the Mavic Pro will enjoy the same 4 QuickShot modes that are built into the DJI Spark: Dronie, Rocket, Circle and Helix.  So far though, DJI has not added the ‘Circle’ quickshot for the Mavic Pro.

Hopefully DJI builds on the QuickShots because our readers are telling us that they really want an automated ‘cable cam’ mode similar to the GoPro Karma.

If anyone was sitting on the fence, unable to decide between a Mavic, Karma or Spark because of the pre-programmed modes, this upgrade has likely cemented the Mavic Pro decision.

And to top it off, DJI also added a ‘time delay’ for the QuickShots, a feature we had requested from them just yesterday!

Youtuber @Dragon7 has done a great explainer video showing how to use the QuickShot modes in the Mavic.
